Sa Dragonera by sailing boat
Off the west coast, Sa Dragonera raises the spine of a sleeping dragon. A natural park since 1995, uninhabited and roadless, the island can only be discovered by boat.
Four kilometres of ridgeline, dramatic cliffs on the seaward side, lonely lighthouses and thousands of endemic lizards found nowhere else on Earth: Sa Dragonera has stayed exactly as the Mediterranean made it. The waters around it are among the most beautiful sailing grounds in Mallorca.
Sailing from Santa Ponsa, you follow the wild Calvià coast until the dragon's silhouette grows on the horizon. At anchor facing the island, a mask and snorkel are all you need to understand why these waters are protected.
